How Manafide works
Two halves of one record, kept deliberately separate.
This describes Manafide as it is designed and tested on a development machine. None of it is open to the public yet.
The Book of Me
The structured story of a working life: licences, certifications, academy and college records, continuing education, logged hours, apprenticeships, evaluations, awards — and the expired credentials that prove a career actually happened.
Corrections are kept alongside what they replaced. Nothing is quietly rewritten, because a record you cannot audit is not a record.
The Document Vault
The original files behind those claims, stored exactly as they were given and fingerprinted with SHA-256, so you can check later that what comes back is what went in.
You can save a document before deciding what it is. One document can support several credentials — a fire academy transcript is uploaded once, not four times. Removing a document takes it out of your vault without destroying it, and you can bring it back.
Uploading never makes a claim verified. A document takes a record to document-backed and no further.
Proof is a level, not a checkmark
A green tick that means nothing is worse than no tick at all. Every claim carries how strongly it is proven, who confirmed it, by what method, on what date, and what that does not mean. An uploaded certificate is not a licensing board check.
Where Manafide does not know something — including which rules apply in a place nobody has researched — it says unknown rather than guessing.
Showing someone only what they need
A hiring office asking about one certification should not receive a lifetime of records. You choose the records, the fields and the documents, when access begins, when it ends, and whether it can be downloaded. You can withdraw it at any moment, without giving a reason.
Withdrawing access stops further access through Manafide. It cannot reach a copy somebody already downloaded, and we say so rather than implying otherwise.
It stays yours
- You are never charged to see, correct, download, export or keep your own records — or to see who accessed them and revoke that access.
- Paying will never improve how verified or credible a credential appears.
- We do not sell worker data, and we do not sell leads.
- No employer sees anything without your specific, scoped, revocable consent — and your record does not belong to whoever was paying when you earned it.
